How to clean the air filter?

My air conditioner isn't cooling, and I guess the air filter is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Can anyone tell me how to clean it?

First, open the front filter door by pulling down. Then, just pull the reusable filter straight out and clean it. Just a heads-up: be sure to let it fully dry before putting it back in.
